Working together, we can halt the loss of critical species

Dear Friends,

The Xerces Society is making headway toward a healthier, more livable future for bees, butterflies, and other invertebrates. Every day, we continue to grow a movement of people who recognize the interdependence between humans, invertebrates, and the well-being of the planet.

But we cannot do this without your help. Every day that biodiversity is lost, the cost to run effective conservation increases. Your support now is critical to creating lasting change for invertebrates and a healthy planet for all of us.

These are just a few of the things your support has enabled in the last year alone:

  • We protected over eight million acres of public grasslands from pesticides
  • We planted over 100,000 acres of pollinator habitat through our partnership with the USDA
  • We provided native plant habitat kits to 457 community partners
  • We helped over 19,760 acres of farmland achieve Bee Better Certification
  • We reached 76,000 people through educational events and workshops
  • We helped 51 new cities and campuses join Bee City USA, bringing the total to over 400 affiliates who reached 260,500 people in 2023 with pollinator conservation messaging.

Your commitment to Xerces made all of this possible. We have more to do to help these vital animals. Will you chip in today?

Our efforts span research, advocacy, outreach and policy. We combine the expertise of scientists, the resources of government agencies, and the passion of communities to make meaningful conservation gains. We have protected millions of acres of climate-resilient and biodiverse lands, provided hundreds of thousands of native pollinator plants to communities, and secured a diverse range of pesticide policy changes. With your support, we can continue this success.

Thank you,

Scott Black, Director

P.S. By working together, we can halt the loss of critical species. If you are able, please give a year-end, tax-deductible gift today to make Xerces strong in 2025.
