The Fox Blockwatch was formed in The High Ridge area approx 9 years ago.
It currently includes 78 homes as direct members but watches the whole territory just as any smart fox would.
The Blockwatch also considers that the appearance of a neighborhood can attract or deter crime so it is also actively involved in the City of Columbus Adopt an Alley program and can often be seen cleaning up loose trash or anything that may be a safety issue.
The Blockwatch members would like to encourage all of the High Ridge residents to turn on your porch lights at night and look when you hear noises or anything that just doesn't look right. Call 911 for emergencies and get as much detail as you can SAFELY.
Remember: Bad guys don't like lights, noise or attention.
The blockwatch is in partnership with the Columbus Police Dept in crime prevention and elimination. If you would like information on the Blockwatch program please call 645-4610.
