NATIONAL SURVEY SHEDS LIGHT ON COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION HOMEOWNER SATISFACTION.
ALEXANDRIA, June 15, Days before a new Virginia "homeowners 'Bill of Rights" law goes into effect requiring community associations to hold open meetings and provide access to financial records, a new nationwide poll released by the Community Associations Institute Research Foundation reveals that the majority of community association homeowners have an extremely positive opinion of their community. The poll was conducted by the Gallup Organization over a three-month period earlier this year.
The Foundation will release the results of its National Survey of Homeowner Satisfaction, including opinions on community association financial accountability, safety and security, property values, rule enforcement and communications, at a press conference Wednesday, June 23. The press conference will be held at the National Press Club, Murrow Room, National Press Building, 13th floor, Washington, D.C., at 1:30 p.m.
