Our city has a new website: www.cityofwildwood-ky.com. This is a free, open forum for our residents. You may post comments, news, and even photos. Our monthly newsletter will also be available online. On the website you?’ll also find a new monthly feature: Where In The Wildwood Contest. Correctly identify where in Wildwood the photo was taken and you could win a $5 Walgreen?’s gift certificate! One randomly chosen winner each month will be announced.
We?’re sorry to report Donnie Kidd of 144 Tanglewood Trail has passed away. Please keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.
Running of stop signs and speeding continues to be an issue. It seems to be the same people breaking the same laws. With the new board in office there is a fare amount of pressure to do something about these law breakers. Some of you folks that have been in the neighborhood for sometime tend to take things for granted. Breaking laws, even in our tiny city, still can levy heavy fines. My repeated requests are not being taken seriously and we are being given no choice but to consider measures to enforce the speed limit. With warmer weather coming more adults and children will be out and about in the city. Additional police patrols are being discussed, we?’ll keep you posted.
Wildwood is a great place to live, please be considerate of your neighbors. I hate to have to give negative reminders; I truly love the neighborhood and want to have a safe place for all of us to live and enjoy. Like most of you, with the warmer weather I plan to get out more to enjoy it. I hope to see you during our walks, feel free to please say hello, I know we will.
Congratulations to Joe & Liz Kipp on the birth of their daughter Alicia, who joins big brother David.
Our next scheduled city meeting will be held on April 17th at 6:00pm at Starbucks. Please feel free to join us!!
