Where In The Wildwood Contest ?– We have a winner!! Angela Katzman of 9802 Wildwood Court answered the contest correctly and received a gift certificate for $15.00 to Graeter?’s Ice Cream!! How well do you know our city? Test your powers of observation with our monthly contest at www.cityofwildwood-ky.com and you could be a winner too!

Just a reminder, overnight street parking is against city ordinance! If you are a resident or a guest of a resident you need to park in the driveway! Grass parking is also against city ordinance.

If anyone is interested in spending an hour a month helping to keep city notes we are very interested in talking to you. Please call me at 425.6009, or speak to any of the commissioners!

If you wish to run for office the deadline is August 12th. The filing fee is $20.00, which the city will cover. If you are interested please let me know, I work downtown and can pick up the paperwork for you. It appears we will need a Commissioner; Kelley Sears has expressed that she may need to resign due to work load.

Please include in your thoughts and prayers the family of Dee and Ben Benkley of 123 Wildwood Lane. Dee?’s son David passed away at the age of 46. He resided in the state if Illinois. Dee expressed that her son was precious and special.

Don?’t forget?…be a good neighbor?…don?’t be afraid to knock or call to make sure all is well!!

The speed bump survey is complete and I wish to thank all that voted. We had an outstanding 97 households that participated, with 9.3% in favor of speed bumps, 2.1% maybe and 88.7% against.

I wish to thank Linda Van Hess of 149 Tanglewood Trail for her proud expression of patriotism by placing American flags in all of the front yards of Wildwood on July 4th. I received numerous calls wishing to thank her and express gratitude. God Bless America!!
