There was another attempted break-in over the weekend on Saturday around 5:30-6:00 O'clock on Hackworth St. It really seems as if the individual or individuals causing the problem are always around when things like this happen. I don't think any names here are necessary but it's obvious. It's sad that these things are going on in broad daylight when people are going about there daily activities with their families. Luckily people were walking that day and heard the glass shatter and called the police. If they didn't hear it who knows what they would've walked away with. It's a reminder that things are sadly still happening in our area and we need to be observant and communicate with our neighbor's when we see something out of the normal. If it doesn't look right or seems odd then it probably is. It never hurts to be over cautious! I hope this person(s) are caught very soon before something else happens.  Yell

You're right that the individual(s) is always around when these break-ins have occurred.  This time he was even seen at the break-in.  He was detained by the police but never arrested !  I know that this guy has had previous problems wherein the police had to be called.  One going back a few years ago,  when he was still riding his bike.  I have no clue why this kid is still on the streets and able to do as he pleases.  Obviously he hasn't changed any since he was a young boy.   His antics just seem to get worse as he gets older.   As you said, we need to be observant and report anything out of the normal because this guy is still living here in our community.

If people "seem" to know who this nut is in the community,  why not give us neighbors a little bit of a discription? I, for one, would like an idea of who to look for. Does this kid live on Hackworth? And if he was seen at break in, did witness pick him out to cops? I just think if seen all time, as stated, cops would've taken him in.

I think the police would've liked to take him in but it's our word against him. He was seen walking up and down Hackworth about an hour before the incident occurred. Then when the police appeared he came up from behind his house as if he was coming from his backyard. As for a description he is around 17-18 years old, African American (nothing to do with color), tall and he has a star shaved in his hair. I know were all saying we think it's him because he's always around when these things happen he makes himself look obvious. If it's not him then I apologize but were only saying what we see.
