Speaker from the King Library came and shared what's new at the library. Subscriptions to 100 magazines, best sellers, computers, story time for the kids, literacy classes, and books in many different languages are just a few of the things that this wonderful resource has to offer.

Derrick Lim, the city neighborhood resource coordinator also gave us a sampling of whats going on at the city level.

Unfortunately Jessica Barraza has stepped down as president because of plans to move out of our neighborhood. We were very fortunate for the leadership she provided during the last year. Chris Clark was nominated as Jessica's successor and was unanamusly voted in to fill the vacancy.
