Meeting Minutes

January 13, 2005
Present: Thai Thao, Christine Hopkins, Dorthy Henry, Don Feliz, Marji Feliz, Maxine Phillips, Deloris Bell, E.C. Bell, Janette Westbrook, Ron Brasel (Vice-President), Jack Bowman (President)
Next meeting: February 10, 6:30PM, Living Stones Church
I. Announcements
Start up grant was approved in the amount of $800.

II. Discussion
Annual dues were discussed and agreed that $10 was reasonable and would be collected as soon as a receipt book was secured. Also in an effort not to discourage membership could be waived by volunteering time toward association business.

III. Roundtable
Ideas to promote our association were discussed including making signs to post on front yards, school lawn, church lawns or other strategic locations. The use of the school marquee as a reminder of meetings for the week or day of the meeting was suggested.

Mission statement and bylaws for the association were discussed, more ideas to be shared as they develop.

Cookies and hot drinks will be provided at the next meeting.
