Camelot I

ZONING & LAND USE

BUSINESS HELPS OUT CAMELOT I

It was hard to miss the big slabs of concrete that were illegally dumped on the side of King Arthur. Robert Hunt with Embrey Developers (building the Business Parks on Eisenhauer across from King Arthur) came to our rescue when we could not find anyone else to help. Mr. Hunt volunteered a crew to come out and haul away the big concrete slabs. Thanks goes to you and your crew for caring about us!!
On that note we would definitely like to thank Mr. James Browning, one of our Camelot I residents, for giving his time and equipment to haul away some of that cement (from the paragraph above). Mr. Browning also hauled away big logs that had been illegally dumped in our neighborhood. What great neighbors we have!!

THINGS ARE BOOMING AROUND CAMELOT-NEW LAND DEVELOPMENT

There will be another Business Park going up on Eisenhauer between Fratt and Raybon. This will be on the same side and resemble the ones on Eisenhauer between Goodwill and Fratt Rd.
The corners of Raybon and Eisenhauer on the Park Village side will see a lot of development soon. On the soon-to-be Business Park side of Raybon, Emery Development dedicated and deeded the corner land to the community and is large enough for a recreation area with a possible structure such as a library.
On the other side (southeast) corner of Raybon and the Park Village side of Eisenhauer, commercial development for local use is planned. More on this in a future newsletter.
There will be new homes going up by Castle Green near Area III. The builder will be Kaufman-Broad and they will be the Classic and Homestead model homes in the $90-$110,000 price range.
You may have also noticed the apartment buildings going up near that area on Eisenhauer. These are one and two bedroom apartments. Beyond that towards Walzem there is a new assisted living/geriatric center already in the building phase.
As you can see we have a lot of development going on and Jim Dye has been working hard on the Zoning & Land Use Committee. Hopefully this is arranged and explained correctly but some of the above may be subject to change.

What is the Zoning & Land Use Committee

This committee works with the city on commercial and residential zoning immediately adjacent to our subdivision.
