don't know if anyone has taken notice of the Bexar Appraisal District (BAD) Notice of Appraised Value of your home and land or not, but I think something is very wrong in there office if they think they can raised the valuation of your property (mine was raied by 20%, from $52600 to $63120, a $10,000 valued increase) without any justification. I am protesting the increase.
My property hasn't undergone any substantial additions or improvements in more than 5 years (I changed the property fence from wood to a 6 foot chain link fence, with my neighbors help, we shared expense on it.
The rate of inflation hasn't increased that much and since I'm retired military the last pay increase was about 3%.
Is there anyone else in the neighborhood as concerned as me about this issue?
It does effect your home owners insurance also, because you will pay more.
