I've lived in the neighborhood here for a little over 2 years now. In that time I've had more pranks pulled on my house than in 25 years living in Mt. Clemens. This is ridiculous. I've been egged, paintballed, had my doorbell rung at all hours of the night, a lawn job and my trash driven through with a car!
I'm sure this may seem minor to some, but you try cleaning paintball pellets and egg off of your garage door, have fun cleaning up your yard of all the trash at 7 AM when you need to be at work, and I'm sure everyone loves being waken by the doorbell at 1 AM.
Besides my personal experience, I've heard about assaults, break-ins, people stealing from open garages and cars, broken car windows, and the list goes on.
To those of you who have teenagers, please do a little more to monitor their activities! If they're out all hours of the night, find out what they're up to, for your sake and the sake of everyone else in the neighborhood. You're ultimately responsible and I'm sure you wouldn't enjoy a visit from the police at 1 AM because your brat was caught vandalizing someone's house....or maybe you would, who knows.
