Message from Rhode Island Breast Cancer Coalition . . .
Hello! You're invited to What's Going On? A Discussion about toxic chemicals in personal care products. Please pass this invitation to your relatives, friends and co-workers.
Did you know that is is perfectly legal to put carcinogens in baby bubble bath, and hormone disruptors in fragrances, lotions and aftershave? Every day we use multiple personal care products that contain chemical ingredients we absorb through our skin, inhale and ingest, and that wash down our drains and back into our waterways. Some of these chemicals are linked to cancer, birth defects, learning disabilities and other health problems epidemic in our society. Please join us for a presentation and dialogue on toxic chemicals in personal care products, and what we can do to ensure everyone has access to safer, non-toxic products.
