Candlelight Neighborhood Association

    I have lived in Candlelight for 20 plus years, and I have never experienced as much bs, and nonsense as I have in the past year or two. I believe in having a neighborhood association. I think it's great that people are concerned about keeping crime out of the neighborhood, or trying to prevent it. I think it's wonderful that we are concerned with the appearance of our property's in that it does raise our property values. However, I am sick and tired of the petty complaints over a car! We have been harrassed over and over again over a camaro. We have complied with every single thing that has been demanded of us. Our one car garage has always been used for storage, we have no where else to put our things, and we have never been able to place a car in it, and our driveway only holds 2 cars, so we had our car on the street for a little while, which was not in the way of anyone else's driveway. We have the car licensed, registered, and insured. We have placed Gravel as an extension of our driveway, which is legal, to move the car off of the street, so as to not bother anyone, but obviously someone still has problems. The car has been egged. We have had code enforcement officers at our door every couple of weeks, and I am fed up with this nonsense. Honestly, people what is your deal? Do you just want to keep complaining about stuff to just keep complaining? Do you like to give people a headache? My family and I have enough stuff to deal with. We have our own serious life or death problems. REAL life problems to deal with. If you have a problem with your neighbor, quit being cowardly, and being a jerk, and just be a mature adult about it. Talk to them about your concerns! Whatever happened to communication? If you are the one complaining about our car, then come talk to me about it, and quit hiding behind some officer's back, and quit aggravating our code enforcement officer's. I am sure they have better thing's to do as well.
