Introduction to Bud Bergquist, current Board President - 2002

On behalf of the residents, merchants and property owners in Canoga Park's Business Improvement District, I would like to introduce
Bud Bergquist as President of the Board of Directors.

Bud, along with his father Harold, and sister Nancy (also a board member) run the family businesses, Green Thumb and Green Arrow Nurseries founded in 1946 by Harold Bergquist.

Bud has been an active board member of the Canoga Park Improvement Association since the BIDs inception in 1999.

His steadiness, sense of fair play, dedication and leadership have helped to foster a sense of unity and well being among the property owners and community members alike. His commitment to insuring that the BID continues to focus on projects which benefit the entire area and that these projects are completed in a timely, cost effective and efficient manner have brought him much well deserved respect.

We look forward to further growth together on this path of continuous improvement of our historic downtown Canoga Park.
