Several homeowners have expressed interest in improving the entrance to the Canonero subdivision. The question we need to answer is what areas at the entrance do we want to see improved? This is a chance for everyone to think and offer their ideas. For example, since I'm writing this, I'll offer my input. For phase I, I'd like to get an estimate for the cost to replace the two short fence lengths at the entrance and put in a mulch bed at the base of the current sign. Since we don't have a sprinkler system in that area, we would need to plant some drought tolerant shrubs/plants and perhaps offer to reimburse the nearest homeowner for some water to help get those plants established. With some pruning of the existing trees around the sign and some power washing of the stone columns, the entrance would make a better impression on people looking to come into the neighborhood. It's only fair if we do this, all homeowners should contribute to the cost of the improvement. What other suggestions can the rest of our homeowners offer?
