The Development of Cantwell Ridge was built in the late 1990's on the property known as Seamans Farm.
The main farmhouse with its long driveway is still located on Thomas Landing Road (Route 9). Well known on the "ridge" for its crops of corn, tomatoes, peaches, lettuce, peas and many other vegetables, this farm was over 129 acres large.
Sold to developers in approx. 1996, it soon became Cantwell Ridge. Most of the street names pertain to the Seamans family members. The land was divided up into 187 single family homes with approx. 1/4 acre lots and a large amount of open space which includes a fantastic playground.
