Speeding
As a walker, I'm concerned that we are headed for a pedestrian accident to the walkers, pets, or children who are in the street. I feel strongly that we need to take some action immediately. Many of the speeders are not residents and obviously most do not read the speed limit sign at the gate. Another option to discuss would be blinking yellow lights at the gate and at the park. People are use to obeying the blinking lights at schools. I would be in favor of low profile speed humps in 2 locations for starters. People respect them, but they are aggravating to people in a hurry. Then if necessary add the yellow lights. How have other subdivisions solved this problem? Procomm should be able to research this for us. I would suggest a recommendation and estimate be brought before the next HOA meeting. We should not delay.
