CWNA Annual Meeting 2010

Capitol West Neighborhood Association Annual Meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 in the Paulic Hall of the Mother of Good Counsel Parish, 6924 W. Lisbon Avenue (the entrance of Paulic Hall is on the lower east side of the building off the parking lot on Burleigh). The Membership meeting will begin at 6:00 PM with reports and the election of Board Members.

It will be followed by a Program which celebrates CWNA's 30th Birthday as a community organization (yes, there will be birthday cake). Several of the founding members will be there to share brief remarks about what stimulated the creation of the organization.

Later, MPS chool Board Director Jeff Spence will be there to discuss the successful moves of the Morse Middle School to the Marshall High School site and of the Hmong-American Peace Academy to the Morse site.  Learn more about the new Morse-Marshall School for the Gifted & Talented, now grades 6-12 and the Hmong-American Peace Academy which goes from kindergarten through high school.
