Weeds

Posted in: Greenshire
It seems our neighborhood has taken on a new plant of choice, called weeds. They are big, they are tall, there are many. I work on the southwest side and see homes in a much more dilapitated state with better yards and less weeds than what has seemed to migrate here. I will be blunt, some yards look like s#!%. Is there anything that can be done, i.e., fines, etc to prompt these people to take 5 minutes out of there lives. My street is Candleberry and Royal Palm. We are all not fortunate to live on Bent Tree and have such terrific neighbors.

Weed Concerns

To Anonymous, You're right. There are several homeowners that have neglected the weeds in their yards, and it affects all of us in Greenshire. The Covenants Committee has recently began a more proactive approach to addressing problem areas, and the two streets you mention are on our action-needed list. I apologize that it took so long for a response to be posted, and want to assure you that your concern is being acted on.
