Are Greenshire residents required to maintain their front yards?  There are several houses on Jasmine Dr. that have horrible yards.  Grass going to seed, huge weeds and thistles and no upkeep at all.  My neighbor across the street cuts the grass about every 3 or 4 months.  Another neighbor butchers his yard with a riding mower about every 2 months.  I'm certainly not looking for everyone to have a perfect yard, but it would be nice if they were held to some type of minimum standard.  Is there anything the HOA can do about this?

I am not one of the houses with a messy yard, but seems strange to aire this out in public.  You should be more upset at the people that do the yard inspections than the people maintaining the yards.  An opinion on the use of riding mowers is very interesting.  Don't the people on the board have a phone.  I understand this can be an extreme case, but if you start enforcing the standards by occupant complaint, you won't have a neighborhood soon.
