PRESIDENT'S NOTES

May 23, 2001

In Carrollton Ridge, we had a great clean up. It started out slow but we received trucks, A roll off, a bobcat, and some GREAT CITY workers. The same faithful workers game and we did a great 12-block cleanup. I want to thank all that came out and cleaned our dirty streets and some unoccupied houses. Thanks to all who stayed in their own areas and cleaned up.
WE WOULD HAVE APPRECIATED MORE HELPERS THEN WATCHERS.
Within days you would never know that we had a clean up. Bulk items were out in the alleys and trash all around. What don't you understand about the new BULK PICK UP- The first Wednesday of each month you are allowed up to 3 articles to be at the end of your yard for pickup- You have to call 410-3619333 at least 3 working days before the pickup date. Get a tracking number from whom ever you talk to. This is to be proof that you called and your articles are listed to be picked up. This is as simple as ABC. So what don't you understand?

On May 4th and May 5 we had a roll off in our community for us to use. It was still here on Sunday the 6 and (2) U HAUL TRUCKS PULLED UP AND ILLEGALLY DUMPED IN THE ROLL OFF. THEY OVER LOADED IT AND LEFT TRASH AND BULK ALL AROUND. BECAUSE OF THIS, I WILL NOT BE PUTTING THE DATE AND LOCATION OF ROLL OFFS THAT ARE SCHEDULED TO BE IN OUR COMMUNITY. COME TO THE MEETINGS AND FIND OUT WHERE THEY WILL BE.
