New landscaping

Am I the only one who is appalled at what is being done to a once beautiful place?As a gardner I know the need to prune back plants.But what is being done here is ridiculous.Every day more plants are being chopped down to nothing,compleatly uprooted,or their stumps left in exposed dirt.Instead of seeing plants,all we see is dirt,rocks,bare walls and concrete.The powers that be need to come and look at the destruction that they are paying for.

The powers that be own and live here. What was here was here was worse. Over grown and very good places for unwanted stranges to hide in and behind. The plants cut back will grow back and the ones removed were dead or dying.

Landscaping

Well this is obviously a matter of taste.I would (and everyone I have spoken to) would rather look at overgrown plants than cement,rocks,gravel and dirt.The plants will not grow back properly,as severe as they have been cut.And as for strangers hiding in--- please!Who ever decided to do this,did it because they prefer the look of a parking lot to that of a park.
