Casitas at Park Centre

I'm getting a bit frustrated with how much cat and pigeon feces is accumulating near and around our complex (I don't own a cat!). I did not notice it as much before, but since the change in maintenance groups I have, and here we are paying more yet I see less being done to keep our dirt ''clean'' and surroundings nice looking - instead it seems to have become one big litter box along with the pigeon poop and it is not healthy! There also just seems to be more debris around than before and I feel that the fees we are paying should be going towards keeping our surroundings looking good!

Serious Health Issues

I agree with the way things have gone downhill with the change in landscapers. Maybe the better/more lush landscaping hid alot of the ''crap''.. One huge health issue that we have encountered since moving into Park Center Casitas 2 years ago is an incident with a hypodermic needle sitting right outside our door in the rocks! My 5 year old picked it up before I could stop him because he wanted to 'help pick up the litter' and - yes - he got poked.. I rushed him to the Dr's for round one of blood tests and we are waiting out the 6 months before we can test again.. I have been giving the HOA the benefit of the doubt - that this messy situation is temporary - but it remains to be seen.

Was this incident reported to anyone but a doctor? Maybe reporting problems to the Board or management company representative would be a more appropriate method of handling problems as opposed to 'bashing' the community on this wedsite.
Since you've signed 'Anonymous' no one knows who you are. Perhaps 'hiding' problems is what you would suggest as a way of trying to deal with them. Have you attended any owner meetings?
