hi! just wanted to see if the community members had any concerns they wanted to express related to an architecture project going on in your neighborhood. nothing from this project will be built, but it would be helpful to us students if we could get some opinions from community ppl about what they prefer.
the project site is castleberry st and peters st, next to the pork and beef packers. the boundaries run from the street to the train tracks and from the viaduct to the first set of warehouses on castleberry.
the building proposal is a library. what i would like to know from the residents is if there is a concern for historical precedence/relationship, building heights, green space, homeless ad-hoc shelter preservation, architectural style, amenity, views, landscapes, light, materials, features, etc...i know everyone can be a designer, so throw out some concerns. :)
