Castlegate Community

I've got news for you, if you frequent the San Tan Events board at all, EVERYONE in EVERY COMMUNITY complains about vacant homes and their weed problems.  Queen Creek is a HUGE black hole of investor properties, homes in foreclosure, etc as are many other cities across the country.  People complain, it is human nature, and quite frankly I personally do not care if you buy in this neighborhood or another neighborhood, doesn't impact me at all, and if you speak with any Pinal Duputy they will tell you that Castlegate is one of the safer neighborhoods in Queen Creek, so personally I would rather live in a safe neighborhood with a few complaining/petty people that an unsafe neighborhood with people who keep to themselves and don't care how properties look.

Weeds, foreclosures, unkept properties, vacant homes, and people complaining about it are everywhere so if you're looking in Queen Creek and you passed up Castlegate for that reason only, then no offense but you haven't done much research on communities or frequented any websites where people in the city post, or talked to anyone here.  So, IMO your loss.

I am sorry you feel that way. Let me tell you some GREAT reasons to live in Castlegate....

I love the fact when its nice outside and I have the windows open I can hear baby coyotes in the desert and not traffic noise.

I love the fact when I drive through my neighborhood people are friendly and wave.

I love the fact people do complain about the neighbors not taking care of their properties because that means they care!

I love the fact that at least for the next 5 years I know there wont be a huge walmart right across the street.

I have lived in this subdivision since day one, and I am thankful I made this decision.

Yes you hear all the complaints about driving and traffic and this and that. But come on people vent.

I am proud to live in Castlegate!!!

I'm up for cleaning up the weeds. Is this still going on?

There's no reason why you can't go and pick weeds yourself and use your own trash can, so it can be "going on" whenever you would like it to.  However in order to have the large apartment complex industrial size dumpsters those have to be rented (and I might add paid a pretty penny for), so it has to be coordinated.

But like I said if there is a property on your street or the next street over you want to tackle but all means have at it, if you have room in your trash can you can always just put them in your own can and go that route.
