I am contacting well drilling companys and working on cost to install and maintain wells for common areas.  I will have something at our meeting in July.  Last year we spent around 120k in water, so there is no doubt that wells will pay for themselves, it's just a question of how long it will take.  I don't believe there would be a need to pay H2O for water anymore if we drill the required amount of wells for our common areas, but again, I will have something at our July meeting.

Thank you for looking into this.  It might be out of reach for us at this time, but having the information on hand would be great.  If we did not purchase water from H2o that would also stop the "water reclaim" bill we got surprised with too.  I am sure this is part of the total you provided.

No, the total was just for water, not including the reclaim.  The reclaim was 35k, so total including the reclaim was 155k!
