Ballot received

Posted in: Castlegate

My name is on the ballot.  I have gone around today with a flyer placing it on about 50% of the homes in Castlegate.  The other 50% will be done tomorrow.  I kept it to one page, not alot you can put on one page with all that I would like to say.  I also put on this webpage letting everyone know if they have any questions to come here and post.  I am more than willing to answer any questions directed to me on here.  I think many of you that come here often already know my feelings about what needs to change and what I would like to do if elected.  For anyone that does not, ask away.  Or even send me a e-mail for more private questions/answers.  brad.giessinger@gmail.com

Thank you Brad I look forward to reading your flyer, I know some of your thoughts but it is good that others know what you would like to do if elected to a seat on the board.

I'm surprised and also disappointed that a statement of some sort wasn't requested of all candidates!! That's a pretty basic thing...  My mother has a home in Pecan Creek North and mentioned that all of their board candidates had a small paragraph about themselves and why they should receive a vote-- it came out in the their newsletter. They also did other things to ensure that only 1 vote per house was sent in and someone didn't run out and photo copy a bunch of ballots up to send them in. My next question to her is going to be "who is your management company?" Money mouth

I do want to say...concerning all the rhetoric back and forth... I just hope that the focus of a change needed with the board and management company isn't lost... in all this bantering. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, let just keep it respectful, and let's please keep the topic at hand in sight rather than getting caught up in insignificant details-- 'cuz it's obvious that you all care about this community and are passionate about the changes you want to see happen, so let's work together on it! Cool  Do I hear an "amen"?? Wink

When I sent my nomination form in I did include a paragraph of why I believe I am a good candidate for the board.  They asked for it right on the form. I guess that Oasis chose not to include them for whatever reason.
