I'd encourage you to call the JO Combs district office on Monday as well. They typically take that stuff pretty seriously and end up sending out a message over the phone, e-mail, and texting to notify parents to be on the look out.
You should probably notify the bus transportation headquarters and the school (but talk to people who can do something not just the driver and teacher) but I'd let them know that neither the bus driver nor the teacher did anything. I would highly doubt that's proper procedure.
They constantly send messages out about someone who stops kids to ask for directions or who was hanging around the schools in such and such a car so I would hope they'd do the same for something like this. May make a difference if it's an a) parent calling and b) talking to the "big wigs".
Hope they're able to do something, it'd be nice if parents were notified at the very least.
