As far as written address go, and what to put on checks and cute little mailing address stickers..Is Castlegate Queen Creek or San Tan Valley?

All my bank paperwork from purchase says Queen Creek but I am confused.

Officially, we are San Tan Valley.  That is how the post office and the county have us listed.  However, some places, ie banks, havn't updated their systems in the past year and don't recognize San Tan Valley or our zip code 85140.  Queen Creek 85240 still works....for now.

Ok, so just for clarification I should put:

1234 blah blah lane

San Tan Valley, AZ 85140 

and not...

Queen Creek, AZ 85140

Yes. 

1234 Nowhere Street

San Tan Valley, AZ 85140

However as others have said some companies have not updated their computers and won't recognize San Tan Valley and/or 85140.  Some have 85140 associated with Queen Creek.

But if you go to www.usps.com and click on "find a zip code" in the upper left hand corner then click on "find all cities within a zip code" (last tab on the right) and put in 85140 it says "actual city name:  San Tan Valley"  with "acceptable city names:  Queen Creek".  But the actual official city name associated with 85140 (which is what we are now) is San Tan Valley.
