Castlegate Community

I am a holiday decorator and when my brother was living in our home, he noted that several of my neighbors decorated for Halloween.  As you can guess we are on Camden Ave.  I was wondering where the decorators were and if you had a theme for this year?  I have generally done a grave yard set up, but now that I have to start from scratch with my decorations, I was leaning towards a Pirate theme.  Would this conflict with anyone else's haunt? 

Also is there a Christmas decorating contest?  Or maybe we could start one?

Both holidays are just around the corner!!

Welcome to Castlegate.  Unlike Buffalo you will not find a snowman contest here in Arizona :)  However it sounds like you have some great ideas.  I would like to invite you to our next HOA meeting, which usally is held the last wednesday of the month at the school.  We do have a Community Events Committee that certainly has room for one more I am sure.

Woohoo! I love people who get into the "spirit" (no pun intended) of the holidays. Makes it more fun for the kids. No theme planned yet, need to go shopping for some decorations.

We just moved to Castlegate last week, too.

We just moved in a couple months ago and while I don't have decor for Halloween (I'm lucky to have costumes for everyone on time) we are usually the most decorated house for Christmas. I totally say we start a Christmas Decoration Contest for the neighborhood! I'll help you out if you wanted to start one!
