Castlegate Community

Has anyone else had a run in with these kids? They look to be 13-14ish,  it happens about 2-3 times a month .. they block the street on Shapinsay with thier bikes & scooters and you pretty much gotta hit them to get them to move.. they toss rocks in the road.. harrass and bully the kids at the park.  My 10 year old was at the park last night and they ganged up on him and took his nerf gun he was playing with. I called the PCSO and reported it this time as its an ungoing issue and Im done with it.. I will do so everytime they are up there doing this if I have to.  Just wondering if anyone else has witnessed these kids?.

I haven't seen it.  I live on Shapinsay but probably not the same one.  But absolutely call PCSO every time.  Sit there in your car and wait for them to show up (they may show up faster that way I don't know) if you're trying to get down the street.  Do you know where any of them live?  If so I'd go speak with their parents and let them know you will be calling the cops whenever it happens anymore.

Thank you.. I couldnt stay this time but I did give them my contact info. Next time I will make a point to stay.  I wish I did know where thier parents live as im all for speaking to them.  This is Shapinsay Where it meets Castlegate just SE of Siminton where the park is. the 4100 block. 

Okay yeah that's not my Shapinsay.  I walk over that way sometimes, but it's during school hours so I've never seen anything.

Definitely keep calling PCSO and if you have a camera or video feature on your cell phone you can take a picture/video of the "blockade" as evidence as well.
