CPA Board and Girard Ave. Residents Testify at City Hall

On June 6, 2005 there was a hearing on Bill # 050370 in front of the City Council?’s Rules Committee in reference to the redevelopment of the Cathedral Park Urban Renewal Area, specifically the 4900 Block of Girard Avenue at 10:00 a.m.

Representatives of Cathedral Park testified about the redevelopment of the 4900 Block of Girard Avenue and of what the project means to our community. Cathedral Park community has been trying to revitalize the 4900 block of Girard Avenue for almost twenty years.

Our community is grateful for the help of Eva Gladstein from the Philadelphia Empowerment Zone and Alisa Oduna-Sneed from Councilwoman Blackwell's office in preparing residents with the scope of the testimony.
