CRIME REPORT; 7-13-11

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

Last night at about 10:25 pm Officer Aron Bryan stopped for running a red light at S Willis and S 7^th.  The female driver appeared intoxicated and failed the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests.  She was placed under arrest and transported t the Taylor County Jail.  She provided a breath sample and the results were 0.187 and 0.191.  She was charged with DWI with a child passenger in the car. 

This morning at about 12:23 Officer Kevin Easley was assisting in a traffic stop when he contacted a male who was not part of the stop.  The male gave consent to a search of his person and 3 g of meth amphetamine was found.  The man was placed under arrest for Possession of Meth Amphetamine.

CRIME REPORT; 7-14-11

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

Last night Officer Brent Payne was dispatched to the 800 blk of Vine for a burglary in progress.  3 male and one female subjects entered the residence by breaking the front door.  One of the male subjects assaulted a resident by punching him in the face multiple times.  This victim was transported to the hospital.  These 3 and 1 female subjects were placed under arrest for Burglary of a Habitation. 

At about 2145 Officer Damien Hutchinson stopped a car that had been reported driving recklessly in the 200 blk of Proctor.  The female driver appeared intoxicated and failed the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests.  She was placed under arrest and refused to provide a breath sample.  She was charged with DWI 3^rd Offense.

CRIME REPORT; 7-15-11

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

Yesterday at about 4:40 PM agents of the Special Operations Division executed a search warrant in the 2200 blk of Lowden.  A female subject there surrendered 1.3g of meth amphetamine.  A male subject at the residence was arrested for Possession of Marijuana. 

At about 5:00 PM agents of the Special Operations Division stopped a car in the 2900 blk of N 14^th for a traffic violation.  The male driver surrendered 3 pounds of marijuana from a nearby storage building.  A male passenger was also arrested for Possession of Marijuana.

And finally at about 12:05 AM Officer Josh Davis was dispatched to a suspicious person call in the 300 blk of N Jefferson.  Officer Davis attempted to contact a male subject who took off running from him.  This male subject was caught and arrested for Evading Detention.     He was also in possession of an amount of cocaine and hydrococone.  He was charged with Possession of Hydrocodone, Evading Detention, and Manufacture and Delivery of Cocaine.

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

Yesterday at about 10:00 AM Officer Duff Phipps was dispatched to a north side business in reference to a shoplifter in custody.  This female subject had removed price tags and replaced them with lower priced tags.  She was arrested for Theft and Fraudulent removal of Writing. 

Officer Aron Bryan  stopped a car in the 3100 blk of n 14^th for expired registration.  This male subject had a warrant for Fail to Identify and 4 traffic warrants.
