it's not about control or conformity....my god it's a dog barking....if the dog is barking incessently at 2 am then its a problem. But if the dog is being a true mans best friend his neighbor should respect him.

Your missing alot.

I came here in hopes that I would find the noise ordinance laws for Culpeper, VA, and may I ask WHY Tennessee laws are mentioned on this thread? This is Virginia, a commonwealth, not Tennessee. Two different laws, wo different areas. Now, can anyone please inform me of the noise ordinance laws here in Culpeper? I can't seem to find them anywhere, and I need to make a presentation to the City Counsel on Monday...

Wow...can you do that?  I am having a major problem with my neighbors new puppy (that they make live outside on their back porch by the way).  It barks constantly...doesn't matter if there are people outside or not...it barks at a leaf blowing in the wind...at its own shadow.  It's annoying as crap!  I've been looking into moving, but I have a teenage daughter in high school and there is very high demand to live in our school district, so it's hard to find another place to live.

If I were to get a petition signed ....who would I give that to?
