You are right....  It is like anything created by government..... once in place.. it is here to stay... FOREVER! Let's pray they do not install more.

I walk the neighborhood daily in the summer. I walk all around and see a great many things. Too many obvious violations. Trash cans out all week, holiday decorations up long past the holiday, house damage, trash out too early, rats, and other stuff.

What kills me is that the people who have elected to be on the board cannot find the time to do their assigned jobs. Being observant and walking the property is something they are expected to do in order to see that the value of our property is maintained.

But in a prior meeting minutes it was suggested the board pay someone $20 an hour to go do it for them. And the management company seems to have just the right person in mind for the job. Hmmm.

Please.... pay ME $20 an hour and I will do it. I am already walking the neighborhood anyway. ha-ha!! This is why I made the comment about being "kings"...  they want to make decisions but not do any work.

If they cannot find the time....  resign and let some new blood on the board that will. Some new people that know they are there to vote for what the people want and not what the board members desire... trying to fulfill their own agendas like parking permits.
