Cedar Riverside / 7-Corners

Lyndale and Lowry intersection

Posted in: McKinley
Is anyone tired and disgusted with seeing groups of individuals standing on the street corners and bothering people? Would anyone like to see a better store or business along this intersection instead of those two run down stores?
Yes

This has been a well highlighted topic of concern at recent community meetings. A Block Club Meeting was held just last night to address this issue. The McKinley Neighborhood is also working with Don Samuels, north side resident and Mpls City council member for our ward, to come up with an action plan. Please share with us any ideas you might have on how to address this topic and develop better relationships with McKinley business owners.

Lost Business

I don't know if the owners of these stores ,Star Foods ect, realize how much business they lose out on from the larger community. I live on the 3200 block of Bryant and I don't know any one on my block who shops there.
Now what?

Now that the whole intersection has been torn up all summer, I am wondering where I can see plans of what that is going to look like AFTER they put it back together...

Any good sources? What type of investors are they looking for to revitalize the Lowry corridor?
