I hope that you continue to read and enjoy the CentrePointe News and the effort that the board puts into the articles. I would like to remind everyone that without the advertisers the News would not be possible. With that in mind when you go to have work done around your house, you need legal or monetary advise, a realtor, auto needs, educational guidance, beauty or personal rejuvenation, or just a groomer for your pet that you will first turn to the advertisers in the CentrePointe News.

2005 Household Chemical Roundup

The City of Aurora Household Chemical Roundup will be on Saturday, September 10, 2005 from 9AM until 4PM at 13645 E. Ellsworth Ave which is 2 blocks north of Alameda on Potomac.
The idea is to provide a place for you to get rid of old paint, oil, and other chemical products that cannot be dumped into landfills, and that we don?’t want polluting our sewers or groundwater.
The City is in need of volunteers who will be provided with a delicious lunch, a great gift, and you won?’t have to wait in line to drop off your chemicals!!

We would like to thank Bill and Sandy Navarro for all of the beautiful tulips and day lillies that they purchased and planted at the entrance of Alameda and Kalispell. It has been nice seeing color among the weeds.

Still on the topic of the Alameda entrance...a big thank you to the anonymous person or persons (we have a pretty good idea who you are) who regularly take the time and effort to clean up the trash, to weed, and to tend the plants.

Between Bill and Sandy Navarro and you our Alameda/Kalispell entrance looks most attractive against the back drop of the new fence that the corner resident has erected.

The board hopes that we will be able to bring a more lasting beauty to our entrance in the future.
