Facts: On May 23, 2010 officers in the area of Peyton Forest Elementary School saw defendant George Axam
exiting the school carrying a flat screen television. There was heightened security around the school because there had been a burglary earlier the same day. Defendant Axam and his co-defendant Demetrius Johnson were arrested and charged. Defendant Johnson is currently on probation for breaking into another Atlanta Public School in 2009.
The defendants will have a Plea and Arraignment Hearing and possible Bond Motion on the date noted above. This case is being monitored by the Zone 4 Community Prosecutor and will be handled by Jill Hollander, Assistant District Attorney.
