Subject: NPU-H eNews - The Mayor's Visit

Dear Neighbors,

Mayor Kasim Reed is coming to speak with you, us on August 25^th 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Adamsville Recreation Center (flyer attached).   We have invited him to come and address your issues with police services, sanitation services, code compliance concerns, parks and recreation needs, community development planning, street cleaning services, etc.   WE need YOU to be present even if you do not have a question for the Mayor.  We must show up to support the improvement of City Services in our neighborhoods.

ALL community clubs/associations are asked to be represented and will be allow time to address the mayor concerning issues in our neighborhood.  All resident in each neighborhood will be asked to stand when your club/association representative addresses the mayor.  Come Show our Mayor that we are concerned, engaged, and motivated members of the community with needs that must be addressed.

Help us spread the word to all ATLANTA residents to come out on August 25^th for “Coffee Table Talk with Mayor Reed”.   There will be time in the agenda for public comments.  We need the public present, that includes YOU, Your Neighbor, and Your Friends.

We need help with distributing the attached flyers to churches, neighborhoods, stores, etc.  Please call me today 404-591-4458 x1 and leave a message with your contact number and name so that I may bring flyers to you or you may pick them up.  You can decide where you will distribute the flyers or we can assign you a location.  

Neighbors you make it happen.  You help to make our community a better place to live.
