Materials for Dallas Recycling
What materials and how do I prepare them for Recycling Pickup
The City of Dallas and Community Waste Disposal, Inc. CWD, Partnered in October,2000 in order to improve recycling opportunities for Dallas residential sustomer with an expanded blue bag recycling program and provide guidelines for participation.
In a Brown Paper Bag, You may include
Newpapers and inserts that are clean,dry and non-yellowed. Do not set them out in the rain.
* Mixed paper such as magazies junkmail and home/office paper (no telephone Books)
Dry goods'boxes, such as ceral boxes, that are flattened and without wax pa;er ( no beveerage carriers or corrugated cardboard)
In Translucent blue bags 13 gallon or larger in size, include:
Glass containers, unbroken and clean.
Plastic Bottles with codes1,2, and 3,that are rinsed and with caps removed.
Aluminum cans that are crushed.
Steel and tin food cans that are crushed also crushed aerosol cans
Call 311 for missed or informaion on pick up days. Do not call your local trash pick up department.
