Summary

?¨ The Community Redevelopment Agency has been publishing a paper form of the electronic newsletter focusing on Channel District since last August, for residents, that may be attained in glossy full color print form.


What You Need To Know

?¨ The Community Redevelopment Agency's Manager for the Channel District, asked residents at this months Town Hall prior to it's commencing, if residents had received or were aware of the existence of the newsletter and/or being able to receive it in print and to his astonishment residents were not.


?¨ The Community Redevelopment Agency's Manager for the Channel District, was advised by attending residents to utilize the City of Tampa's Neighborhood and Community Relations to ensure broader resident communication for CRA announcements/events and communication, this ensuring resident notification.

?¨ The Neighborhood & Community Relations Office is a link between the City of Tampa and the citizens by serving as a community outreach office. We aid in the development of new civic associations as well as work with existing groups to further their progress. The office is a resource for both residential and neighborhood business interests, addressing inquiries by phone, in person or via e-mail. Additionally, throughout the year we host the mayor?’s town hall meetings and organize the City of Tampa?’s Neighborhood Fair.
