Summary

?¨ The City of Tampa's City Council assures residents a minimum of fourteen (14) business days communication/notification of events, accessible to all residents. They also ensure the same basic standard acceptable and accessible notification all Special Districts and/or Special Assessment Districts. (i.e. Port Authority, Historic Trolley, Tampa Downtown Partnership, Community Redevelopment Agency, Community Redevelopment Agency Area, etc.)


What You Need To Know

?¨ The recent action of the Special District: Community Redevelopment Agency's actions of communication have been communicated to the City of Tampa's City Council for corrective action of which City Council has stated they will take action.

?¨ City Council members have extended apologies and requested theses apologies be circulated throughout the entire neighborhood to all residents and visitors for the unacceptable and inaccessible communications made by and under the guidance and direction of the Community Redevelopment Agency's Administrators




?¨ Apologies for the actions of the Community Redevelopment Agency's Administrators start with the budget for 2009 to the most recent notification of public roadwork construction (see attached) this last week to begin this coming week, among the multitude of ongoing issues regarding the actions of the Community Redevelopment Agency's Administrators .



?¨ The neighborhood website offers links to several of the multitude of districts impacting the Channel District. As all the links are still being added, be aware that they are there as a conduit for residents to link to special district web communications being posted on there own websites to communicate with residents.
