Approval by Board of Commisioners for our street scape grant

Tonight, June 6th the Neighborhood Partnership Board approved our grant request to update the steet scape on the East side of 83rd Avenue from Maryland to Ocotillo. Next step is for it be presented to the Mayor and her council on June 26th. If the grant request is approved by this Board we should see work start soon. New bushes, gravel and drip system will be installed as well as an entrance sign on the North/East corner of 83rd and Tuckey Lane.

One of the stipulations is that we as a neighborhood provide sweat equity within the neighborhood. We have scheduled on June 30th a workday to clean up the public access areas on Tuckey Lane from 79th Avenue to 83rd Avenue. If there are other areas within our boundries that need attention please advise by either email or a phone call.
