216 seniors at Shea , more grads

At last check, the city has made provisions for a new program for seniors at Shea and Tolman to make up lost credits. I heard this may include portfolio work. Last week, I heard 216 Shea seniors will be graduating. That is about 20 more seniors than last year.

This week, some seniors should find out if their portfolios are diploma worthy. the portfolios have been evaluated.

Portfolios finished early June

Dear Father and concerned parents,

I know the pace of portfolio evaluation will be very slow. Only 30-45 will be evaluated. As of January 28, only 30 Shea portfolios out of 216 have been evaulated. I think the portfolio evaluation committee will only be evaluating 30-45 portfolios per month. The senior class interviewing of each portfolio will start in late May. In closing, this is the reason why seniors will not be dismissed from school until June 24.
