Community University

The Neighborhood Development Department helps strengthen neighborhood organizations through its leadership and capacity building programs and workshops. Community University is a training program that provides a series of classes designed to increase the knowledge and skills of neighborhood organization leaders and members. Course topics are related to successful organizing, developing neighborhood vision and mission statements, communicating effectively and managing conflict, accessing resources, neighborhood problem solving and strategic planning.
