My Fellow Residents, as a member of the Forest Pond HOA Board, I participate in this community in a way most people don't and I enjoy what I do! Some people don't enjoy living here and want us to know that fact like the anonymous letter that follows. I truly do hope this individual will attend the HOA meeting and volunteer to run for a Board position - but I know he won't because he is afraid to stand up for what he writes.
''The Forest Pond Homeowner's Association needs to be disbanded. It's a bunch of crooks and is a joke. This $50 Extra is ridiculous. That should have been put to a vote of the entire community. How dare you hold some meeting that no one has time to attend then fill it with your people to get more money from us. If you have a website, do voting online. And put voting cards in our mailboxes and let the residents vote on if they want to pay this extra. First you threaten foreclosure if we don't pay, then you say you can't collect and the rest of us have to pay extra. Every item you put forth should be voted on by EVERYONE...either by mail or online. There is no excuse for this icompetence and thievery.
EVERYONE should vote on whether to keep the Association or not. We would all be better without it. It does not good for the average resident. I would not have bought here if I had known before the day we had to close. We weren't told about it until then, which is another shady operation.
My old dues were $12 a year in a neighborhood roughly the same size. For that $12 we had landscaping and snow and ice removal. We get nothing. How can all that be done for $12 yet you waste all this money and put out phoney budgets every year.
Where is the park we were supposed to get?
Why don't board members stop people from parking on the street all the time? Why don't board members stop people from shooting off dangerous fireworks around houses every year?
Why aren't residents voting on these price increases? If you mismanage moeny so much, why aren't residents voting on what to be cut? The outrageous landscapes fees could be cut by people mowing this grass themselves. There is no landscaping at the front entrance anymore, so how come the price has not diminished?
You people are crooks and I'm going to see if I can get someone to look into your finances and hold someone accountable.''
