Area Street Congestion

Feb 20, 2006

Area Street Congestion:

A walk around of the area indicates that more and more cars seem to be parked on streets; especially on the west and south sides of Charterwood. Request where possible to park cars in garages or driveways to open up the streets. This should also make it easier for any emergency vehicles to get through when needed. Further, non-functioning and unlicensed vehicles should not be parked on the street and, per the covenants, should be in the owner?’s garage.

The street congestion situation could also be alleviated some if Homeowners would use both stalls of their garage. It has been observed than many homes to not use their garage at all for parking their vehicles while others only use it either for storage, and inoperable vehicle, or both.
