The ongoing policy in Charterwood is that trash (covered where possible)is not to be placed out near the curb any earlier than 7:00 p.m. the night before removal. Emptied trash containers must then be moved from the curb and placed out of sight before 10:00 p.m. on the day of trash removal. Your help with the latter will mitigate empty containers being scattered by the wind. After a holiday, remember that trash removal may be a day later than normal. Any questions in that regard, contact Browning-Ferris Industries at their residential services number, (303)287-8043.
Recycle Services - Recycle services relative to Newspapers and Paper Products are as follows:
Newspapers and their inserts are accepted as before. In addition, BFI will now also accept magazines, junk mail, computer printouts, white and color paper, glossy paper, photocopy and typing paper, receipt and register tape, brochures and pamphlets, direct mail, posters, envelopes, post-it notes, adding machine tape, coated paper, manila folders, phonebooks and cereal boxes.
