Could we have the Pawtucket historical group help coordinate with the library and maybe the neighborhood association too to gather and present

In the 1940's, how much distance could one get from $5.00 for an afternoon at the Leroy Theater?

Those were big bucks then...and like a bonanza, but that was probably a weeks pay as well.

Today we have three live theaters in Pawtucket as well as movie theaters only adjoining our city, so maybe we need to look for a theater downtown and go to Pawtucket's Community Players, Gamm and the Mixed Magic theaters in the city.

Terrific idea to support our own and maybe bring in a theater for movies downtown..
