Customary Courtesies

Customary Courtesies

The following is a list of courtesies that neighbors have traditionally extended to each other over the past 70 plus years. They have become as important to the residents as the Deed Restrictions.

Please do not place garbage cans and yard trash out before 6:00 PM on Monday and Thursday evenings. Please collect garbage cans from the street before 6:00 PM Tuesday and Friday evenings.

No R.V.'s, trucks or boats should be stored on your property. This refers to daily, seasonal or permanent parking spaces for the above vehicles.

Please park your cars in your driveway or garage. When necessary for short durations to park in the street, please do not park on the lawns or easements. Park so there is room for emergency vehicles to get through.

Please abide by the Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government leash law for animals.

For the safety of children and other residents, please drive slowly through our streets.

Please participate in the general upkeep of Cherokee Gardens by maintaining your lot and cleaning your catch basin.
